Dualie - as in dual tires?

Doing any motor work to turn all that extra rotating mass?

well its a k&N intake, breather bypass, magnaflow catback,no muffler, no cats, air raid spacer, and a couple other things.......... i used to work for ford and i tuned it with Ford IDS,.... shes ok

Did you use the stock axle width or did you narrow the axle? And which axle? Ford or GM (prays for GM :))

Pics?

i used a GM REAR!!!!!! lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 73 k30 rear axle out of a 1 ton.......tryin to get the cam charged up to take some pics of it

Nice nice!!! a 14-bolt axle! What a wonderful axle that is -- a pleasure working with that axle with its removable pinion housing, 3rd pinion support, AND carrier bearing adjusters!

yeah let see pics of this sport trac dually

Pics!! What did you do for the speedo?

Not sure what GSXR did but this is what I did when I switched to the GM 14-bolt axle:

Tone ring cut from an old Dana 44 carrier bearing and then welded to the transfer case's output flange:

Ford 8.8 sensor mounted on the transfer case:

This is the sensor up against the tone ring:

Calculation for the number of "teeth" count required at the transfer case mounted tone ring:
New Teeth Count = [Old tone ring teeth count] / [Gear Ratio of differential]

The old tone ring of course is the one pressed onto your old Ford 8.8's carrier.

see how simple? LOL

I agree, pics of this dualie are needed ASAP as it sounds pretty dang trick. why not just get some fender flares that unbolt from another already done dualie?

The trouble is, name one 'already done' dualie that has the same fender shape as the ST.
Come on with some pics already, the idea is giving me semi,........tractor thoughts.

none will really match but with something like this you gotta expect to either do custom fenders or use some off another vehicle. I shoulda said factory instead of "already done".

Now this one i have got to see. I will be keeping tabs on this thread.:D

heys guys....... had to get out for a bit..... and just got home....... im on those pics>>>> i promise..... i got a big jeep too i need to sell on craigslist. im just waiting on my buddies camera....... but im absolutely going to run with ur idea here. thanks. pics up soon i promise!!!!!!!
