How much slack is acceptable?? I looked at mine good and i see no obvious problems but i can shake it and there is a little movement... Should it be tight?

To get optimum performance from your sway bar the bar-to-frame bushings as well as the endlink bushings should be tight and firm. Replacing the worn out stock bushings will greatly improve the feel and handling of your truck. You might want to opt for EnergySuspension bushings for an even greater improvement over stock, they can be found on ebay from retailers for around $30 which is a great deal.

Ok i will replace them... Is it a hard job? doesn't look to be, but looks are deceiving sometimes...

not hard at all.. using a vice, a socket slightly larger than the OD of the eyelet and a bolt with a head bigger than the OD of the sleeve in the bushing i popped the old ones right out.

The front sway bar bushings are relatively easy to replace. You may need to replace a some bolts due to rust/age/breakage, but they are standard sizes available at most hardware stores.
