Stalling problem.

92 ford explorer 4X4 xlt
i have a 92 ford explorer 4.0 L and a check engine lite came on and i did a test on it it came back with code 111 and it still stays on if im right 111 means passes right but it still comes on and my idle will go low sometimes and stall what else could it be

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 91-94 section. Clean the MAF sensor & IAC, replace the fuel filter, and check the intake manifold gaskets. Check the vacuum lines for cracks, and clean/replace the PCV valve.

hey brook i noticed that my 92 explorer does not have a EGR valve is that common for this year
 






yes. some came with egr and some did not.
 












where is the fuel filter on my 92 ford explorer 4.0 L 4X4 XLT
 












well brook i cleaned the IAC valve and changed the air filter and cleaned the MAF changed all the spark plugs and gaped them and cleaned the PCV valve im still having the idle problem maybe my idle is set to low i don't know lol any more ideas
 












how many gaskets are on the intake
 












wow brook i would never remember how to put it back together lol and i dont have the money to pay someone to do it . is it hard to do on these models
 












on my 92 ford explore what is the codes 54 57 59 check ingine light
 






while were on it, what vacuum lines are the most important to check?
