Steer Wheel feels like its about to fall off

Anyone have a problem at one point with the steering wheel feeling like its about to fall off. If I take my hand and place it on the top of the steering wheel and pull foward front and back theres a good amount of play I bet if i did it hard enough I could rip it off the column. Is there like a screw somewhere in the steering column that I can tighten?

Take a good look at where your steering column goes thru the firewall and see if the nut and bolt and clamp is present. Also the column should attach to the underside of the dash. Remove the covers under the steering wheel and get a good look.
