Is there any mods to help tighten up steering on my 92 xl. All parts are in good condition or have been replaced so I need some mods. Any suggestions?

I have searched but there is so much info that it can get confusing, if your willing can someone explain to me in about a paragraph or two what some mods are and the benefits of them.

If not maby a link?

On top of the steering box there is a jamb nut and stud. If you loosen that nut and tighten the stud (half turn at a time) it will tighten up the slop if everything else is good... and that's you problem. The box wears a bit over the years and that will tighten it up. Try it, might be your issue.

You can get a quick ratio box from AGR.

It's on my list of things to upgrade...

This is good to know, I may have to look into this myself.
