Ok, i had to cut off the little plastic bushing that is on the intermediate shaft of the 2000 explorers for my steering to work after i removed my Body lift.
I have the Stock 2000 steering with the end machined to fit a first gen steering box, with a SAS.
What can i do to remove the slop. Its caused by not have the plastic peice in there. And allow the wheel to turn a little before engaging the shaft. I would have reuse the plastic peice but it fell apart when i tried to remove it and good luck finding a part number on it..
