Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a reset switch or some way to tell if my factory amp is working or not ? My stereo has really low volume ,you have to turn it up all the way just to hear music when driving on freeway. I put new speakers in all 4 places and no change. Are these factory stereos this week in the 2002 model mountys ? My factory stereo in my 2000 ranger is way louder. any help or info on this is much appreciated
one of the speakers could be out of fase. also if you changed speakers on your car and they were originally amped the old speakers would/could be 2ohm speakers and the new ones are 4ohm speakers. meaning that your radio has to work twice as hard to get the same sound hence the lower volume.
