STILL NEED A CDPLAYER AS OF 2-24-00

I just bought a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT. And I would like to listen to some of my cd's. I have no experience in installing CD players, so I figured that I could find a cheap used (good condition) unit would suit me fine. Does anyone have one that I can buy?
Its the end of February, I still need a stock cd player, and the guy at the bottom of the post didn't ever email me, thanks!
Please contact me if any one has one!

Junk, Junk, Junk....

I have same year, same style. Nice Choice.
I have noticed that the Ford Cd players are Faulty Piles. They heat up really quickly, and they don't fit in our year of explorer. (granted I'm using one out of a 96 F-150)
My cd player begins to heat up after about a half hour of use. What I mean by heat up is, the cd player gets so hot that it fails to eject the cd. BUT it won't play it either! The only way I can get the cd out is to turn on the trusty ol' air cond or just leave it off for a half hour, (even when it's 15 degrees out... Brrrr..) It just clicks and grinds for a few minutes, quits down, and just pisses me off.
Unless i just leave the same cd in for the duration of the ride.
ANYway, I'm looking into a new after-market set-up.

Needless to say, hassle, hassle, hassle, junk, junk, junk.

I dunno, just sour grapes.

Best of luck!

Anyone else have this problem?

I have one that i just removed and worked great.

It came from a 1994 Explorer Limited.

If you would like it quote me a price.

My CD changer works good. I have never had it overheat. Maybe yours is just defective

mr. Bean, hey, I was wondering if you got either of my emails - I kinda need a cd player soon (road trip) so I was going to see if you could email me back, or something. Thanks
