Stock Shackle Flip

Is it possible to flip the stock shackle using stock springs to get a little more travel? If so will it raise or lower the ride height, and can you use the stock location?

Explorers don't use that type of shackle. You can purchase a longer shackle to get a small amount of lift and potentially more suspension travel.
