Not good. If you enjoy loud obnoxious sound at any speed do it. You'll lose some low end power too. You're better off keeping the stock muffler.

i have straight pipe...people that live around me hate it when i get home at around midnight or one in the morning cause its so loud. it definatly isnt the best sound in the world but if u want it to be loud, do it.

i myself have heard it piped and definitely didn't like it at all.

but i think they sound nice with a simple turbo-muffler.

I took mine off and drove it around before i put my dump out in and could tell a loss on low end torque.. I like the 40 series more.

It sounds like a 6 cyliinder with straight pipes :p
An AWEFUL crappy sound :thumbdwn:

I had it on a 1st gen, and it wasn't the greatest. Very loud in the cabin, and lots of highway drone. Definately wasn't going to do it again on my Sport.

My X had a bad Joint from the cat to the muffler and it sounded pretty crappy it sounds like it does now but a whole bunch louder. If you want loud go with a half 3 chamber and half glasspack my buddy did it on his 4.3 blazer ZR2 it sounds good but is ridicously loud.
