hi, im having some strange noises from my 2001 explorer at low speeds on acceleration. it started off a few days ago making binding type noises almost sounded like hot exhaust cackleing but was only happening on acceleration... over the span of a few days it quit making the binding noise and started squeaking now a day later its squeaking and occasionally making the binding noise.... sounds seem to be comming from the rear drive shaft area, so i checked the u joints and they appear to be ok to me. where do i go from here?
