1994 XLT,
Well other than no reverse gear. I have found a possible strange problem on my 98 Explorer XLT 4.0. Checking out the driver side front end, I noticed that the rubber bushings in both the sway bar end link and the top rubber on the shock mount is gone. Both being replace since I got it. the sway bar end link and All 4 shocks ( rough country Nitros 0" lift) a little over a year ago. Also replace are side hubs and Driver side axle.
Anyone seen this happen and /or know what the cause is? I am planning on replacing them with urethane, but first I would like to see what the problem is.

Tim

End link bushings disintegrate over time, especially with over-tightening. Use the Energy Suspension bushings with the Moog heavy duty end links. There is post on here somewhere by swshawaii that explains it. Sorry, don't have the link handy right now.
