I used Windex to clean it off. Had to do it several times though to get it clean. I'll try getting a dedicated glass cleaner as I've heard that the amonia in Windex could have adverse effects on the tint in the glass. When I took my Ex in to the dealership the other day, one of the guys spent some time cleaning that window channel but I don't think it got rid of the streaks completely. It was raining on the way home so I haven't tried it yet to see if there is any improvement. Never experienced this before with any new or used vehicle I've had.I just PMed Cory but me +1. My windows are coated in a very viscous grease. It is think enough that at night my side views look blurry. Its very tough to clean off as anything water based like windex seems to make it just smear around.
UPDATE: Tried the window today and there are still streaks on it when you stop it before it is completely down. Put the window all the way down and ran my finger along the felt surface of the channel strip. This left an oily residue on the tip of my finger. I put some window cleaner on a rag and ran it over the felt several times on the inside and outside and tried the window again. The streaks are now not as bad but are still there. Will pick up some rubbing alcohol and try the same procedure to see if there is any improvement. Back door windows don't seem to have the same problem. Front passenger window does, but not as bad.
