stuck in 4x4 low

I 'am stuck in 4x4 low. The indercater light is off. I folled the right procedure. to take it out. I think it might be the motor or selanoid. on the back of the transfer case. any ideas?

Sounds like the solenoid is gone and is holding in place. Take the motor out and click it over by hand

thanks for the info. Had to go out of state. rented a car with the extra insurance!!! I put the xlt in the shop.
