I was driving down the highway, when all of a sudden i gradually lost power to my 2000 explorer XLT V6 and it died. The problem i have now is that it turns over but does not start. I have spark (new coil),full tank of gas, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new camshaft pos sensor and new crankshaft pos sensor.... Breather...im running 58psi at the fuel rail valve, no blown fuses , my injectors and relay switches are clicking. there is no check engine light or theft light and all the power is running fine. The only thing i can think of replacing is the computer. I am stumped, can anyone help?:(

Hi everyone, i think i put this in the wrong section.

is the starter cranking?
How do you know you are getting spark?

I am suspecting crank sensor but its way early to figure that out

Also 2000 is returnless style fuel rail... is 58psi correct? I thought like 80 was needed? Forgive me I am used to the 35# needed for the older style systems

How many miles? What transmission? Did you lose power at the dash/radio?

Light, radio all power is working. I pulled a spark plug and getting spark and i believe the fuel pressure is in range. The engine turns over and over and over. only 10,000 mile on rebuilt engine.

ouch I am going to guess this is a SOHC 4.0L engine?
because you said you had it rebuilt?

POssibly a timing chain issue

Did you get a warranty??????????????????????

Thanks for the help. The engine is under warranty and it's time for the shop.
