Sub Direction?

What is the best way to face you sub...is it the roof, the rear hatch, or a side pannel in the trunk area. Does facing it twords the side still give me the +3dbs??

My single sub is in a box offset to one side of the cargo area. I've found that facing it across the cargo area to the other side yeilds the best compromise of sound and rattling.

Mine face up....no rattling problems at all.

I put mine in the back right up against the back hatch. right now it sounds like my back hatch and side windows are gonna blow off. oh not to mention the roof.

I need to get some pics of my system up here.
