Supercharger install 9+lb boost! Full build

Yes, give him the pump model and let him know it's two years old, plus the returnless detail(no FPR vacuum referenced).
I'm wondering how the fuel pressure at the rail will go up if the regular is inline with the rail
This design won't allow that
Its been done with this setup why am I different

you should have more then enough fuel pump for the truck. like most have said, you may need a larger fuel rail, or even fuel line? or even possibly return system? ive had the same walbro 255 in mine for years and as far as i know its never ran out of fuel at 6300 rpm feeding a stroker at that.

Looking at the data logs it seems like she is lifting her foot then goes lean but only after she is letting off just bellow 680 absolute throttle

Is the TPS sensor curve really smooth, try checking that carefully. If it has any glitches or erratic points anywhere, that could be part of it. The PCM accepts any odd voltages of the TPS and tries to use them.

Yes I checked and it is new like a few months new a Motorcraft unit

We just did a run seems much better but I don't understand the high iat s
I'm spraying with s #6 nozzle
60/40 mix
I think he has got the fuel under control :)
Maybe the iat sensor is heat soaked

I wish I had a chance to tune it. I think the issue is getting the injector slope sizes correct with the 67psi fuel pressure. If they are off a bit lean or rich in Closed Loop, the EEC can fire injectors considerably more lean or rich in Open Loop. I had a rich issue with my current build and dialing in the injector slopes made the difference. I have a working tune exactly for your build. I am curious, if you were close we could try it. I was able to get good IAT with the the number 4 nozzle under boost and was able to add timing for more power with that added cooliing.

I have not looked at that strategy in a while, but there is usually a fuel adder for WOT.

Where is the sensor located?

Do you have good vacuum to the supercharger bypass valve? Is the vacuum actuator good? If it is not working right that would explain higher IAT.

It is not unusual to see IAT come up under boost but not too much and it should recover relatively fast off boost.

The meth should be taking the heat away??? The 6 nozzle is the largest and I ran the #4. Are you sure it is spraying upon boost?

In the lower plenum plate directly under the blower

I weren't sure it was spraying so I took it off and tested
The bypass is working to
I just tested it after reading your post

That IAT location might be the hottest spot, I would prefer it down stream of the meth injection if possible. Where is the spray nozzle, and the volume above the intake ports relative to the IAT?

Nozzle is just before the throttle body
Not much room at all in there

The only place I can think to relocate the iat is back to the sensor built into the Maf
How did the original factory tune figure the temps out?

The meth is not spraying until 5psi

Question what if the meth sprays in closed loop??
She does hit boost at low rpm like up a hill

It should be in open loop climbing a hill if the load is great enough. If it did spray in closed loop it would be no problem, just a waste of meth. That should not be happening with meth spraying at 5lbs.

How does the Air fuel ratio look in Closed Loop? It should be switching back and forth tightly around around 14.67:1. If it is rich or lean it will carry that calculation into Open Loop fuel and be lean or rich then.
That would be more a global condition across RPMs not at the high end only.

It sure looks pretty, nice work but why is that thing lean at high RPM/WOT?

Double post, but hey, Hello!

its not lean he fixed all that now its heat pulling timing im gonna move the iat to the top plenum and add a solenoid to the meth and just a little more water
move the nozzle to a port on the intake
ill post a pic
