Superlift Question

I have been mulling between the Tuff Country 4" or the Superlift 5.5.My question is on the Superlift rear leaf relocation brackets.Are they welded or held on by bolts? I plan installing the lift myself and do not have a welder for rear perches.

They are bolt on. Then, if you want a little more strength, you could drive it to a shop and have them weld the piece in also.

They kind of wedge themselves in the existing perch, and are held in place by the u-bolts and spring plates.

BTW, I beat the hell out of mine too. They've held up to it all just fine. My only suggestion is to cut off the stock shock mounts from the spring plates. My shocks are dented from them.
