I used to run a Samurai as my DD....On 33's and well lifted:D.

Now the DD is an '08 Focus.

the stock tires are 26"x8 and im going up to a 28"x8.5 tire...

i wanted a ranger to DD but i got this samurai for a grand and i wasnt going to pass up that deal. had 94,000 on it

i was going to build it into a crawler but it gets great milage and the gas prices right now made me just want to DD it instead of the explorer

its really fun to drive and nowhere near as scary to drive as everyone made it sound. i feel comfortable doing 60-65 on the freeway and getting around town it doesnt have a problem staying with traffic

i like the colors on the bug by the way hahaha thats sweet

..I did have a Baja Bug with a roof rack, and which was streetable, that I dd a while back...It had a 1776 w/ dual webers and a "Rat tail" pipe...I loved driving thru the winding canyons on the way home trying not to slide the front tires...:D

hahaha ya i bet a bug on a winding roads would be scary...

i like how small it is, i can make u-turns anywhere and parking is never an issue

theres a webber carb kit for my samurai that i might do....i would just have to keep all the factory stuff for when emmisions time comes around again

i may do a cam and rockers as well because everything is cheap for those engines haha

nice thing about 2094# car is you dont need a bunch of power to have fun driving it

Ya the bug is fun up to like 50 i was going to get a samurai and use it for mudding but when i saw the bug for $400 and ran fine i had to get it. So wear are all the pic lol ?

well ive been trying to post a picture or two but my comp sucks and i cant get to photobucket....theres some on myspace if you care to look hahahttp://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=361225183&albumId=603302

i actually just did an oil change this morning, i got this thing like 2 months ago so this is the first oil change that i have done....the threads on the plug werent in very good shape:( so i think next time i change my oil ill change the pan as well:rolleyes:
oh and the oil was black and stinky....
the transmission is kind of noisy so i will try changing the oil there too
oh and the clutch....

man im glad all the parts for this thing are so cheap and that theres a million sites out there for parts

i ordered the shift sheet for the t-case from rocky road the first day i got it because i knew it was broken
and i think that was the last thing ill ever buy from them, took a month just to ship it

so theres still hawk suzuki, low range offroad, calmini, and a few others to get parts from haha

but anyways.....that paseo is clean, i like that...is it rwd?

If you're going to replace the clutch, definitely go with Centerforce -- can't beat 'em!

i use to DD a 87 sammi now it just sits next to my ex. and only gets started every week =(( the ex is way more fun to dd tho ha

I wouldn't give up on RR yet. I got most of my parts from them and had good service. One part did take a while to get, but they were out of stock and having more made at the time. I had more problems with Calmini than I did with RR..

My DD is an opel corsia 1.2 in germany. The states is my RX-7 and or my explorer.

Actually, I'd recommend the Petroworks HD clutch first.. I had one in the zuk, and it was AWESOME.

ya i need to decide on a clutch, because im going to change the pilot and throwout bearings real soon. they sound terrible when the clutch is not engaged.

it seems like no matter how smooth i try to drive the samurai, its always a little jerky... but i can drive other manual vehicles just fine haha its kind of frustrating.....cable actuated clutch
