The torsion bars on these usually are adjusted to different levels, the adjustment bolts will not be at the same location. That's normal. Yours sounds like it's quite a bit different left to right. But I wouldn't condemn either bar for that, they are strong and only the F150's had some reported failing torsion bars.
I would look at the rear height hard, and if it's not really level, then I'd work on that first. The front is somewhat easy to adjust, worse case would be to buy new keys that raise or lower the truck several inches(it moves the adjustment range up or down). If you needed it to be stiffer from bottoming out, then you would have to get stronger springs.
