hey swshawaii, can you please clarify how do i remove the metal ring inside this rear sway bar link? So far, it's coming along well...just need to remove metal ring

Sorry, I forgot about the pressed in sleeves, my '05 didn't have them. Without a press
or a heavy duty vice and large socket it may be difficult. Fine blade hacksaw? See link.

Anyone seen Prothane kits like the ones listed in post 12? All I can seem to find close are universal bushing sets. Just looking to compare. Thanks.

I'm not convinced all their bushings are different, some molded numbers on their parts are the same as Energy Suspension's. Complete Prothane catalog @ Prothane.com. If the parts or kits exist, you would find them here.

I'm using the ES 9.5164G (2WD) universal greasable for the front sway bar. The stock brackets are much stronger and heavier gauge. Consider using the OEM brackets with graphite bushings or drill the brackets and bushings and add zerks.

I've read the '91-'94 poly shackle bushings will work on the Gen 2, but confirm first. Search ES 4.2124 on the forum. Rubber encased replacements linked below.
