I’ve had my ‘20 XLT since December and despite not liking it very much early on, it’s grown on me. The turbo is rather fun around town if you can get past the bucking bronco 10-speed. The mileage has far exceeded my expectations.
One of the main annoyances I was continuing to run into, though, was the speed sign recognition feature constantly reading the wrong signs and applying my brakes to slow down abruptly while in traffic.
Decided to try switching the cruise control down to adaptive, and so far have really been loving it. One of the things that had kept me from doing it earlier was how much I liked getting on the freeway and just hitting the RES button to set my cruise. What I wasn’t aware of, though, was that you can press UP on the RES button and HOLD it to increase the setting, and while holding UP, it increases quickly by 5mph increments (I think). Much better than having to press UP repeatedly until the desired speed. So now upon entering the freeway, I just enable cruise control and press and hold UP on the RES button for a few seconds to reach my desired speed setting.
