I'm guessing you don't have HIDs then. In that case they seem pretty good to me, Sylvania has served me well in the past, reputable brand and anything brighter than stock is always good.

Yes, I do not have HIDs

i've had silverstars on a previous car of mine...don't remember the model of the bulbs and they were decent...but with the cost of HIDs dropping drastically, it would be almost the same price to just get HID's instead.

Yeah, the prices of those HID's are really coming down, a lot of people are getting them, and I speak from experience. I had a couple of those aftermarket HID jack-holes behind me on my commute today blinding me. I wish I could have shown my appreciation somehow :D

Yes, HID is little more surgical to install.

I wasn't aware that Silverstars had bulbs for our vehicle, if that is the case I'll get them , I've had them on other cars and I do like them a lot, our oem bulbs are very yellow in colour.

Its 9005 or 9006 i don't knowwhich one for sure, it is in the manual.

I've been burned by Silverstars twice now. I had them on my Accord first. One bulb burned out after 9 months or so. Ended up getting at HID kit from xenondepot for about $200, and it's been wonderful. Not a problem in 6 years.

I got Silverstar Ultras for my Ex in February. One side burned out this last weekend, while driving in the evening. Super annoying.
For a $50 set of bulbs, they REALLY need to last longer than a few months.

Ordered another kit from xenondepot, which will be arriving on Monday. I can't wait!

I know that the bulbs you're looking at are a bit different than the ones I had issues with, so take it with a grain of salt. I know I will NEVER take the bait again, though...

It's a 9005.

Same shape, but 9006 has the tip painted, so it wouldn't work in a projector setup where the "high beams" are just a metal shroud in the headlight lifting out of the way so that all of the light is allowed to pass through.

Got sylvania ZXEs this morning and they are in and they are definately whiter then stock, brighter.......maybe a little.
Worth $49.99.............NO

I read my manual for the lighting requirements when I first got the truck and it listed the headlight bulbs as being HB3 ?, never heard of those before , are they the same as 9005 ?

Yes they are 9005
