After having the 2.11 update several weeks ago, everything ran fine until last week.

I put the car in reverse, waiting for the rearview camera to appear and it took forever for the rearview camera to come on. It took about 30 seconds before anything even popped up. Then as I put the car back into drive and started driving along, the rearcamera stays on the whole car ride.

With the next day, I turn on the car and the car starts blowing cold air when it's less than 30 degrees outside! Tried turning off the climate, turning down the temperature with no response! It was very unpleasant having cold air blown into all the passengers in the car! I can tell you my friend will never purchase a Ford Explorer, or a Ford for that matter ever after sitting in my car. A very embarrassing moment.

The next day, I tried to make a call and pressed the voice command button. Guess what pops up? NOTHING. Not even a beep or a prompt. Pressed it multiple times and there is no response. My SYNC is dead. Everything lags now. The climate would say it's on but it's not. Everything lags.

My family started to become very happy about the Explorer up until this point.

I tried to find fuse 29 but the fusebox is a PITA to get to and with this cold weather, I'm not going to bother with it at all.

Tired of going to the dealer and wasting my time just to get a brand new vehicle fixed.

Is anyone familiar with Maryland's lemonlaw and if it applies to multiple issues and reoccurring electronic issues?

I know this is like a giant rant but I am to the point where I actually want it FIXED for REAL.

So if anyone has any suggestions at all for what to do or how to fix this problem, please let me know. I'll post my issues up onto youtube if it helps.

"substantially"
will be the key.

You don't have to pull #29 for a reset. You can go under the hood and disconnect the battery cable. I had a black screen of death a couple weeks ago and that's what I did rather than contorting myself under the dash.

Just pull the negative cable, wait about 20 seconds and hook it back up. Everything will reset, including the vehicle fault codes, etc. - but I didn't really care about that.

Okay, update. The MFT must have reset itself overnight or something because when I woke up this morning, the MFT stopped lagging and everything started working fine again. SYNC lady came back. Although it hasn't been as cold out these past two days. Hopefully this was a temporary issue and not a hardware issue. Thanks for the help guys. I'll pull out the battery next time the issue happens again.
