im going to be replacing the front and rear gear oils soon and will be changing the fluid in the transfer case. i know ford says to use atf. i will be replacing the fluids with royal purple fluids. but my question is, has anyone use the syncromax fluid instead of atf. royal purples website it is ideal for 4x4 transfer caes. either way should be an improvement

i changed my gears with royal purple. Everything has been running fine with no problems.

see if you can find an amsoil dealer near you, it's at least as good as royal purple and cheaper since your not having to pay for all of their huge marketing campaigns.
