I just bought a used '03 explorer and it's just beyond its warranty period. I noticed by browsing the TSBs for that SUV, that I have a couple problems that are addressed in the bulletins.

Do the dealers do that work for free, even though the warranty is expired???

TSBs are not considered Recalls. Recalls are the only things that the dealer/manufacturer will repair for free (usually). TSBs you may be able to get done for free, but you will have to work for it. TSBs are basically for the technician working on the vehicle to have an idea of what the problem may be. TSBs are problems that many vehicles of the same type are having, but not to the number of needing a recall. Hope that helps
