Teds Shed Build Thread

Scott sent me this picture. What I know about it is that it's a Napco 4wd dually F350. I think it has a 360, 4 speed, and 255s. I helped him put a Detroit locker in the rear axle. Hopefully he'll chime in with more info and/ or pics

Help swap a Detroit under the hood next. That's a beautiful truck!

I don't know what this forum thinks about non-explorers
If it sucks gas and hauls (censored) it's alright. If it has a V8 where a V6 or 4 cylinder used to reside, it's even better.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! We had a camper special dent side wish we still had it woulda gone 4x4 with it. If only it hadnt gotten stolena nd stripped for parts

The last sentence says you live in southern California.

Unfortunately yes. Although never had any issue at home. I cant remember the last time someone got robbed out here probably because A. Nothing good to steal. Thieves have no interest in an 02 SIlverado 2500. B. Constitution

Always gotta make sure the trucks are locked when we go elsewhere but never had an issue at home......

Pffft that’s just one of his creations
They build some wicked trucks

I want to see more pics of the beams and Scott’s / bacon creeks trucks

Drool drool

My work truck broke down. Something with the fuel system. Hopefully I can get it figured out this weekend, and then get the stuff back in action. This makes a little delay in the build, but such is life. I’m just grateful for friends like Scott!

I’ll post more pics of the beams whenever I get everything home

I'm not going to plug up Ted's build thread w my bumpside collection.
I think there are some pics of them in my Explorer build thread.
This B2 build is going to be fun.
We will be hitting you up knowledge Jamie. You are the guru as far as I'm concerned.

Pics of the dentside in the background?
I thought that looked like a "bump", 1967 to 1972. I have one bump and three dents. Someone told me that the hoods will swap out!
That looks like a 1971 grill.

Ahhh got it.

I must have scrapped the ranks out of mine. I haven't seen them kicking around.

Parts crew sheesh don’t let me have at it I could use all the doors, the radiator support, and more!!
Probably have to beat Scott to those parts he’s ahead of me in line ’m sure

I might be able to hook you up. I bought it for no good reason, and it has more valuable as a a parts truck. It’s kind of a shame, but I’ve just been slow parting it. Seems more valuable for parts than as a truck

You have a title for it? I agree in north Idaho there’s a ton of these for parts but in some parts of the country there are people dying just to get their hands on a crew cab obs

Yeah, it's a diesel title. I bought it (for who knows what), but another friend wants the idi and zf, I need the axles for my super cab, and little parts have been handy, but I always thought someone might want the cab and title to build something really cool

It's an interesting mindset shift having grown up w the '70s pickups as cool and semi valuable and the '90s pickups as new. Now the '70s pickups are crazy expensive and some of the parts are getting rare. Now the '90s pickups are hot commodities. 🤔
