My problem is the left rear passenger door on my 1998 Explorer XLT only opens part way. I pull the handle the door opens a crack and the is stuck. I have tried taking the handle off on the inside and manipulating the cable that release the door latch but I get the same result as just pulling the door handle from the outside. The door only opens a crack. How do I get may door open. I think it has something to do with the child safety lock. Any suggestions?
