well after all the tail twitching the ex was doing, and enough grumbles and groans to sound like a haunted house,it was MOT day today, and a chance to find out how much to put all the loose sounding bits back on.

i even turned the lpg off on the way home and let her have some petroleum spirit and a ragging lol

lol- cheers ime well happy, there a bit like going to the dentist:( you leave the car and sit round all day wondering what the worst case senario is going to be,
and quake at the thought of not having the car on the road-and for this we pay the equevalent of $100 and if you take the car away to repair it you get to pay for the test all over again:mad:.

good news m8 (:

after much finger crossing and praying, mine has just sailed through too!!!!

much partying to celebrate i think!!!!!!!!

Greg

Congrats guys, I've heard the MOT can be quite a pain.

Pennsylvania has a simple inspection and emissions testing. Most places aren't too picky unless they want to pick your wallet. My county doesn't even require emissions, so $20/year and I'm road legal. :)

wow in the uk we could only dream of that price to be legal,we have to find

$700+ insurance if your lucky and age dependant
$400 road tax-this could well double for some
$100 MOT test

and then we have the pleasure of $2.30 A LTR for fuel
and after all that you can put the key in and drive

It is also require to have insurance as well. It seems to be on par with your as well as $36 for vehicle registration every year, not bad considering what you guys go through.
