The New Dodge Challanger

This is the car that Dodge is taking to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this year. I've got a family as well that works for Crysler as well in Detriot that I'm debating about taking a drive up to take a look around. It's not due out from what I've heard till around 2008 or 2009. He also showed me a photo of a doctored photo that I've heard they're tossing around of a Challenger Police car. Man that was nice. It sits on a 300c/ Charger base, so there's your weight right there. The nice thing however is that with this base, there's a TON of aftermarket support right out of the box ready to go. Let's just hope though that Dodge opens up the colors to more than it's normal puke yellow and such.

At least it is a 2 door. The fourarger or Chargefour or whatever really dissapointed me. I like this, and hope the trend continues.
I'd like to see a new TorinoGT and maybe a Cougar on a mustang platform

Now that looks like a muscle car. Looking like that it should have a bigger engine than a 4.2L though.

Yo I don't buy this 4.2 stuff. Maybe as a base/intermediate motor. No sense at all, when the Charger/Magnum/300 have a 3.5 (with like 350hp, kinda impressive already), 4.7 V8, and the 5.7 Hemi, and the 6.1 SRT8 Hemi

not a bad looking car, i think it definitely looks better then "4 door" Charger.

but i think the rims are to gaudy looking, they should size them down a bit.

I wouldn't mind driving one of these around. This is so much better than the Camaro concept. It's just fugly.

I read on MSN yesterday that's it's going to have a 6.1L Hemi.
0-60 in 4.5 if I remember correctly and a top speed of 175MPH.

I went to the auto show yesterday and took a few pictures of this car. It is going to have the 6.1 Hemi, 455 hp ( I think the lady said) 0-60 4.5 and 1/4 mile time of 13.0. Here are the pictures I took.
