The Wal-Mart Experience

Going to Wal mart for quality car care and maintenance is like going to McDonalds and expecting a gourmet meal.

it was a Subaru something or other, I think they had to pay him $6k for it. He ended up buying an old truck for $2k and used the rest to furnish his tattoo shop, his shop looks good btw. :P

Wal-Mart had to buy my friend a new car once, he took it to them and they forgot to put the oil drain plug BACK IN. He headed home (a 45 mile drive) and well I bet you can guess how the story ends...

I won't take them any vehicle ever.

I actually have a tough time believing this because I too had a friend that took his Honda CRX into Wal-Mart for an oil change. They forgot to put his drain plug back in and his engine seized on the way home. Wal-Mart told him to try and prove it was them and that even if it was they assumed zero liability from it. He got shafted pretty hard. Lost his car, wasn't reimbursed, and is now a major advocate of banning Wal-Marts from towns all across the U.S.

Well that may have been true for your friend, but I know is that's two engines and two damn good reasons not to take my truck to them.
