Then I guess you are neither friendly or a good user! Cause everyone else on here is very user friendly
Try using the search tools provided to find you answers.

Whats wrong Brandon?

sounds like a personal dilemma...... jk the only problem I have is the 15 sec between search feature other than that good sight!

Try putting keywords in search box.

Great first post!

Whats he smoking??? I know its not seafoam...

:smokinfro
This site is the only reason my truck is still on the road with 307+K Miles! Better advice than any dealership!

No complaints from me.

I was led here from a google search, joined, and have been in then fray ever since!

Kudos to the Explorer Forum crew! :salute:

Smart ass zukman........

When I said the site was not user friendly I didn't mean the people. I meant the site itself. When I tried to view my profile it wouldn't allow me to see it. I would click on a link and it took me right back to the same page. I just find another site. I don't need e-mails from ZUKMAN telling me i'm not friendly or don't know how to operate my computer. It's not me or my computer its the site. Didn't mean to offend anyone here. I'll go somewhere else. It's been fun. NOT.... Good Day

Sounds like it may be a cookies problem. I've had that happen to when I log in from http://explorerforum.com instead of http://www.explorerforum.com

For some reason it always took me back to the main page no matter what linked I clicked on. What operator system and browser are you using?

Apology

I apologize for being an ass folks. I wasn't having a good day and i've been under the weather. Please forgive me. I promise I'm not like this. Anyways... I use windows explorer. I really want mozilla firefox. I would also like to know how I can post pictures of my truck on the site. Can I copy and paste into this message box?

I have a 1992 explorer xlt 4x4 4.0 v-6 106k. I have a question about the front and rear axles. I have noticed some of the explorers do not have locking rear differentials like mine. Is this an ordered option when you purchase the vehicle? Mine cherps tires and is very hard to turn in 4 hi and low. I also want to know if the front axle is a solid posi when it is in 4 wheel. I have automatic locking hubs and when its engaged the steering wheel runs from me while in a turn. I would assume the front axle has a locker as well. I have to back up 10 feet when i disengage. I like this better than having to stomp around in the mud to lock the axles

no one believes me either when I say i have a 92 4 liter with only 106k miles. Runs like new. Still has new car smell. It's been garage kept and well taken care of. I use valvoline max life with lucus stabilizer and premium gas only. K@N air filter and I do air/conditioning for a living and converted from the old r-12 to 134-a. Enterior is perfect. one very small tear in driver seat soon to be refinished. No body damage just small scratch on roof rack. everything works power everything. I can't wait to get pics posted. I love this truck and everything accept gas milage. If i'm lucky i'll get 15 on highway and 12 town.

This is exactly why I have...

<------ ...this avatar :D

It's all good- everyone has a bad day every now and then.
I guess look at it this way- you picked the right screen name. :)

You can paste links from photobucket, etc into the message box and it will show up.
Low miles- must see pics!

I was not trying to be a smart ass! You came in here attacking the forum, what did you expect? If you are having trouble simply so state and someone will be happy to help you.
We are a family here. And unlike some other sites that shall remain nameless, we are not rude to people. This is the most informative site around for every type of vehicle.
Apology accepted. And I'm sorry for jumping down your throat.
btw Zukman never answers threads in here Zukmam does.

No Explorers come with a locking diff. They are after market mods. Some come with a limited slip but the clutch pads? and are worn out and useless by 30,000 miles.

All 4x4s will chirp when turning on pavement. Never drive on pavement with the 4x4 on, unless its our once a year ice storm.

I didn't like the auto hubs on my 91, so I got Warn manual hubs. Big improvement. You don't have to wait till your in the mud to lock the hubs, just off the pavement and on a dirt road.

The motor will last for ever. If you have an automatic transmission start a savings account for a new tranny. They suck bad and are the only weak spot in the whole truck.
