throttle body

how to increase the opening of the throttle body for my stock EXPLORER.

I watched this thread and followed the instructions but I can not, something
difficult for me.
I have already lost a throttle body.

I not sure you need to, as is, it flows over 700 cfm now. The injectors Ford used are even over sized for a v-6. AFE power makes a Throttle Body Spacer that with your KNN filter will give you the proformance you want.

P.S. Summit has it for about $103.00

if you havent already you need to go with a bigger MAF and larger intake pipe.
the maf is from a 94/95 Mustang GT Cobra. after all that, the throttle will help.


now that link to the shaft mod works well. heres my pic. just make sure the part you dont cut out has threads. you can see in mine how the part thats left does have threads

Throttle body spacers are a waste of money. For that price,spend a little more and get a bbk and be done with it!!

The performance of my truck will it change significantly?. (I know this will not be a Formula 1) but this is interresting Or I throw money for nothing
