The other day I got bored and decided to tint my turn signal reflectors to match the back a little better. Now some of my friends are telling me thats illegal but I think it is because it still lights up amber. Any opinions?

dont know whether its legal or not. really depends on state law. But I think it looks pretty sweet!

Ive heard (every state is different) that there has to be amber in the front, and red in the back on the reflectors, but I have all clears up front in my 92, and my tails are all blacked out in back.

I even have BLUE corner lamps and turn signals up front, cops go by all the time, one pulled up right next to me, gave me a stern look then left.

But no tickets :D

i have all my brinkers blacked out or vinyled over. i havn't gotten pulled over yet. i think they it has to do with the vehicle we are driving. its not a honda haha

When I do see a cop I flip my pk. lights on, so my tails look red lol

Me too. I have my lenses all blacked out, never had any problems.

Here in NC the DMV laws only specify the light output as red or amber, lens color doesn't matter. But '"blackouts" or any lens tint are illegal.
