Been running 35 in my '91 ex both front and rear since the day I bought it. Also have run nothing but Firestones all around. Luckily, I never listened to the fools who said to lower the tire pressure to around 26 psi to improve the ride way back when. I knew that was going to be asking for disaster. The low pressure at high speeds had a tendency to weaken the side walls, then when the pressure increased due to the heat, the tire was actually prone to blowout. I got 97K out of my original Firestones and they still had more than minimum allowable tread. I'll never get rid of my ex (205k as of last month).
