Tire question

I would agree, sounds like an easier decision than finding 20" tires

If it was up to me and it was my daily driver that's what I would do, but wife like her wheels... Soooo I am here with this tire debacle

I wouldn't just go out and buy something to correct the speedometer. I usually check it with 2 GPS units, phone and nav unit etc. I've rarely seen a factory speedometer that's 100% correct to begin with. If its 1 or 2 % off either way at 100kph etc, I would leave it alone

I'll tell her she's a moron for you - if that would help.

I mean I know the issue.

In that case look for either increasing the sidewall without rubbing. so 265/40 or even 265/45. but you'll run into fitment issues and potential to bottom out the suspension and rub the tires on the body.

but I doubt it. ON a sport - highly likely.

And as mentioned above - there are some tires that have some sidewall additions for scrubbing. bridgestone used to do this I guess they still do, michelin also.

but you'd have to look closer and might have to see one mounted on the specific wheel to see if there is any help.

OH and other wise- curb feelers.
