2002 XLT
i recently purchased a 2002 X. i got the 4.6, xlt, 4 door, 3rd row seat, etc., and am very happy with it. of course i want ot make some modifications to it, and i figured i would start with performance. im planning on purchasing a chip (yes, from brama), and also exhaust, with an intake. my question is should these be done in any certain order? will it matter if i get the chip first, and then the exhaust, or intake? of course im not quite sure what brand i want to go with for the exhaust, or intake, so i was wondering if u guys could give any recommendations. my motive is more based along street performance.

also, i will be looking at adding bigger tires/wheels. is there any place i can go to see what size tires will fit without rubbing? i underdstand that this website is structured more around off roading, but i dont intend o ndoing any with my X.

as if i havrent asked enough questions already, i have one mroe. are there any magazines, or websites that deal with street performance and suv's?

There is a tires size chart in the Wheels and Tires Forum, but I'm not sure if there are any 02 + in there. I know a few guys have gotten 265/70s on there without any issues. The tire chart is a sticky at the top of that forum. Check that out and check out the Under the Hood or the Sport Truck Forum for the other stuff.

Welcome to the site.

i got 265/75/16 on my 03 xlt and have no problems but they just fit you can't put any biger on them..
