Well, looking into some tires, most likely 31 x 10.5 since they are the biggest I can fit that won't rub (right?) without lift. Anyway, I saw that BFG says that the 31 x 10.5 can fit on 7 in. rims which i have stock. It would be great if i wouldn't have to buy new rims but would u guys put those tires on 7 in. rims? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me but if it will be ok just let me know.........

Thanks

*EDIT* Oh yeah, forgot to say i am looking at the all terrains.....

they will fit on those rims fine... few have put 33x12.5's on 7 inch rims. did you try a search on the rubbing? some can fit 31's and some cant without rubbing.

you can safely put a tire up to 4" wider than the rim on.

7" rim= 11" tire, so you are fine.

fact is, i know many people who have run 32x11.5 and 33x12.5 on a 7" wide rim. the biggest i would do on there is 31x10.5, but thats me. in either case you are fine but dont count on the not rubbing issue. it probably wont, but nothing is 100%. if worse comes to worse, you can do a TT and some shackels for cheap.

the BFG all terrains are a fine tire, you will like them, i guarantee it.

So those should be ok on my stock 15x7s? Good. If they do rub I can always do TT and shackles like you said. Might be a problem if my paps doesn't want me to do that though. He was against me modding the truck in the first place but he has given in it seems. I can understand though since he did buy it for me to drive. Me paying part of insurance though. Getting off topic again

try and have them test fitted before you buy. any shop or dealer should let you do that.

Good idea, I will try that. My friend told me that when he tried to buy 31s for his mazda pickup on the stock 7 in wheel, the tire store he got them from wouldn't let him do it. Weird huh?

if they dont let you tell them you will buy elsewhere then.

Lol, I bet they would change their mind then huh?
