I realize that it's not a 3rd Gen, but here's mine with 34x10.5R17's (33.4x10.2 to be exact). I stayed narrow in order to fit the tallest tire possible, and so far I love them.
Pro - They increase clearance more than a smaller tire (Duh!)
Pro/Con - They have a tendency to dig rather than float it the soft stuff..
Con - They're likely to be less stable in off camber situations.
