Tires

only plugs from the exterior are a problem in long term use, an interior patch from a reputable shop is fine.

The patch often is stronger than the rubber on the tire itself, drive away!

I went with the patch. $22.00 bucks later and we drove away. It was a no brainer $22 vs $225 for a new tire

Patch is the way to go, like a previous entry, check your road hazard warranty, my x has one from when I purchased the vehicle

Did Ford switch from the Hankook's in 2012 my? I have the 20" tires on a LTD, 302A pkg.

I believe the 18" tires are the Michelin Latitudes and they come standard on the XLT. The 20" tires on the Limited are still Hankook tires. I have Hankooks on a late Sept build Limited.

I agree with this.
