Does anyone have a Torsen for a Dana 35SLA or now where I can get one to buy?

Thanks GMAN but I have tried to contact them with no luck. They maybe shut down due to the corona virus. NY you know.

I finally got to talk to someone at Torsen and it will be a few months before they start producing a Dana 35 SLA diff. The gentleman who I talked to told me to send an email to put myself on the list to get one when they come out. So I suggest that if you want one to email info@torsen.com and ask them to put you on the list to obtain one and urge them to produce some soon. If there is sufficient demand they will start production sooner than later. info@torsen.com

Did you hear anything further from Torsen about the Dana 35 SLA unit? I'm interested as well if they reappear.

Edit - I just got a reply from them.
"We currently have the -0207B model in production. At this time we are projecting that these will be ready in mid to late May."

Anybody have experience with the Powertrax Grip Pro? It (may) be compatible with the SLA front diff as well, and it's also a mechanical limited slip design. Currently available and a bit cheaper than the Torsen.

Seems hit or miss on which application charts show it working. Powertrax absolutely shows the LK443527 (mechanical automatic locker) as working, but the GT443527 doesn't come up on their web page even though the compatibility charts are otherwise very similar.

I love my Torsen. Only know it's there when I need it. About to swap my rear locker out for a Torsen also just to improve road manners. My truck is 99% pavement.

I put in an order for the Grip Pro. Will update whenever I've actually got it in my hands and can proceed with installation.

That's been my setup for years, it's great. I have a T2R in the back that's fantastic for putting down power out of turns. Good luck with it!

That's been my setup for years, I have a T2R in the 8.8 that does wonders when you lean into the throttle mid-corner. The pair of them have never let me down off road or in the snow, either. Good luck with it!

I have the Torsen Dana 35 unit. Works great and handled Canadian snow trips when I was in WA. Listed the Suv for sale in CA now since just sits around. Also has TM headers + mac intake.
