My Torsion bar adjuster bolt broke. HOw am I suppose to get it out. I am out of ideas. Please help I'm suppose to take the truck out to Corrola tomarrow.
Find something like a set of vice grips to grab it and remove it all the way out and replace it with a good substitue or weld a nut on to it and take it off with a wrench.
Mine has broken twice... The first time on the trail during a run with the group, and the second on the street. The second time I was in the same situation as you are. I found two nuts that fit the bolt used lock tight and put them on together so that they "bound" together and when the locktite dried unscrewed the bolt. Take all the pressure off the bolt and use a lubricant on the bolt and let it soak in. It should come out easily unless its stripped.
Alright I got it out!!!!! With a three point puller twisted all the way up then I had to cut the bolt from the top piece by piece until it was able to be wedged out.
