Sharp if you ask me. :]

And yes, the driver side looks a little high. I'm on an angle on the driveway, sorry. :|

Looks awsome! Those flares look great painted. Might have to do that myself! What did you use on them?

Definitely look a lot nicer.

So... how are you liking the new ride? Is it really THAT bad?

Good to see you go it. What was the problem?

The ride quality is the same, if not better. I didn't notice a difference at all, it's just mumbo jumbo until you do it, and of course it all depends on the person.

I had all the flares/bumpers/mirrors and all painted professionally by a body shop.

And Matt, you know those "eBay billet grilles" right? Well, I had one and it was a bolt-over ontop of the factory bars, and the emblem had to come out, in the process, it snapped. I quickly moved to a speed grille which now exposes it. So ever since then I've been searching for black Ford emblems (at the same time, won't run $50 a emblem), and it's been hell. :(

Etc - that's the problem, I really don't know what it was. Some nice long chats with Chris (boomin) and pictures and I nailed it down in 45 minutes this morning, incredibly fast.

I got the casters and toes maxed out today, still debating adjusters as it will slam on the fender flares and possibly destroy them if the truck slams (bumpstops up front are removed). I'll scan the data sheet later on, but I do plan to just get the camber adjusters in next week and eat the bullet, I really don't know.

Driver: -2.3
Pass: -1.8

We'll see what happens, but I'll be well on my way getting this into spec ASAP. Monday most likely.

Well, i did it, and rolled it for over a year. All im gonna say is if you're happy then im happy. It does look awesome. :)

Here's the readout after the toes & caster have been maxed, no camber adjusters yet, will get them done this coming week sometime, I will get into spec, trust me. :]

I never took initial measurements, cause I initially had this dropped ~1" for about a month before I removed the bolts, then a week later, flipped the adjuster. Safely, I'd say about a 3" on the driver side front, and 3.5" on the passenger (to level it out). The truck looks raked though, so I'm not exactly sure if I underestimated or not, perhaps around 4". Rear is 3" blocks.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

looks like you have talked me into it.

I had my parts guy call around the different parts stores for camber bolts $17 a side, 2'' blocks $40 and U bolts $10 a peice
It looks like I'm going for 3'' in the front, and I got 2'' blocks for the rear.

I figure I will go to the shop on sat. do it all including the alignment witch I'm not looking forward to. our alignment rack is a POS I hate even setting toe on cars

You're back in LA, right? Dude, give me a call or something (818)259-4588 and lets do something, or hit me up on AIM when I'm on. I'm working "on-call" for a bit while I get a new job right now, so all my time is up in the air.

I haven't been to LA in awhile. :p Still see Britney and all them?

5.0 explorer- Blocks seem kind of expensive, was only $30 for blocks/ubolts/nuts/washers at Autozone for me. Camber kits sound like a deal though, nice job. Good luck, hit me up on AIM or email if you need anything. I'm sure with those 2 tutorial pages you should be good to go.

Wear on drivetrain/balljoints and stuff? I don't know really, haven't been dropped that long, maybe Ted (TAS) or Hartman could help you out there, Ted did the flip, Hartman just removed the bolts.

If you want man, I got all the tools here needed to help lower the rig. Just bring one of them universal kits over with the u-bolts and all, and we'll lower her. :]

*******, we're definately gonna have to meet up sometime soon now, I'm dying for some Hold'em lovin' you know. :p

Mine was flipped for quite some time and i never noticed any advanced wear on parts. Im sure it wears out balljoints faster as they take a beating, but it wasnt noticable.

draft- are your shocks tuned for that much drop or are you just running shocks from the previous drop? Does it matter, if say, you do TT first and decide later to do TF. Will you need new shocks?

I had custom shocks ordered for a 3"-3.5" drop, obviously the front is a little more, so I'm just about in spec as far keeping my shocks alive while I have the truck dropped. TT is fine with your stock shocks, but I'd hiighly recommend once you start removing bolts and possibly doing a TF you get new shocks.
