My truck is due for new tires within the next 2 months. I'm not interested in puttnig 33's on it, I'm too practical for that.
I would like the tires to beef the truck up a bit, however. Right now I've got 235/70R16 BFG Radial Long Trail T/A. I'd like to go up to a 265/75R16 in a BFG A/T or a Big O or something. I do a lot of around town and only minor off-roading, but I do live in the foothills (3500 FT) and wind up in dirt and snow and mud now and then.
My main question is: Can I go 2-3 inches larger on the tire without encountering problems with the wheel well? What about mileage? Thanks for your input.
