i haven't put any tow hooks on (yet) and was wondering in the event i do get stuck is there any place i can safely use? i skidded into a ditch a few months ago and used my warrior shackles and that worked fine but i'm reluctant to try that again

I would avoid hooking onto the suspension, if you really need to in a emergency the rear bumper could be used by putting a shackle through the hole. For the front you could get some of the stock front sport tow hooks.

There are OEM rear tow hooks that came on Sports...

Those little stock hooks are a pain to attach on to my shackle was to big to fit into it and we ended up looping the strap through it, thats why I prefer my hitch much better with my hook in it.
