Towing without a trailer

OK, since the issue of how has been handled, the next question would be "why?" In what circumstances would it be important that you be able to move both vehicles simultaneously by yourself? At one point in time, I had three vehicles while living in my condo... I couldn't drive more than one at a time, so having all three there was not an issue. When, for some reason... mechanical break-down, service work, etc) I had to leave one someplace, I simply bummed a ride, called a cab, or rode my bicycle home. The ONLY time I had to move multiple vehicles at the same time was when I moved into my house, and then I just took one vehicle down there in the morning and had a buddy that was helping me move bring me back to get the other one while we were moving.

Joe,

I don't necessarily know of any specific circumstances where I'd need to move both, but I'm just a planner by nature and am thinking ahead of myself a little to see how difficult it would be if I needed to do it. The thought really occured to me because I need to pick up the car tonight after work, and it's been a ***** and a half trying to get friends to leave work early and make the drive to meet me there to get the thing home. I have someone giving me a hand now, but it just made me wonder, especially because I know the X is a capable tow rig, and I've never used it for that purpose before.
