TPMS Monitor batteries

Would anyone with TPMS experience know how long I can expect the TPMS batteries to last? I assume there is constant power draw, regardless of whether the vehicle is operating or not. Thx>>AJ

Roughly 10 years is the number I've heard. Got a ways to go..... it's not a constant power draw either. It takes centrifugal force generated by a short time above 20 mph to wake them up.

Thx Spikedog. Thought maybe it would be worth changing batteries when replacing the tires just to avoid the cost once they do go.

I haven't taken a microscope to them, but I don't think the batteries are all that easy to get to either. I think the sensor is pretty well sealed up intentionally.
