Trail information web site

I am thinking about putting together a website that has trial information for various parts of the country. I have had a hard time finding good information regarding trails and where people can go and I hope to solve this for any other people who are looking for a place to go. If there is another site that does this, and I just have not found it, please let me know about it.

I think it's a good idea. I haven't seen anything that covers the whole country. Just regional sites.

Here is an idea. For every trail I have been on a buddy of mine has done a little page about it. Why not just do that for every trail that everyone visits then eventually you should have one heck of a site on all kinds of differnt trails.
