I'm curious, does Ford include the trailer harness in all Explorers? My '94 did not have a hitch or even a ball on the bumper, but when I opened the side rear panel in the cargo area, there was a plug in harness coiled up inside.
I checked in my '01, and no harness. I want to add a hitch to the '01 so I can tow. Does anyone make a plug-n-go trailer harness, or do I have to have one made for it by a dealer?
My truck has a 4.10 Trac-Loc rear (for sure) and heavier springs (I think).
