Mercon V ATF, personally I would go with Syntethic Mercon V. If you are going to change the fluid yourself sure it is MERCON V and not the regular "Mercon". They are not interchangeable!

You didn't mention if it is "auto or manual tranny" The above message is for "automatic tranmission only".
The 5 speed manual take regular Mercon ATF and it take 2.6qt, again I would go with Syntethic Mercon ATF (do not use Mercon V).
